Key Rules and Regulations

  • We are representing Richard Challoner School. The same high expectations of behaviour we have of pupils in school apply in France.
  •  Pupils must be punctual and organised.
  • Pupils must be in groups of no fewer than 3 at all times.
  • Mobile phones and any valuables are taken at the owner’s own risk and no member of staff will be responsible for their safe keeping. If you can’t afford to lose it – don’t bring it! (Please also remember that there is no Wi-Fi/internet access in the château)
  • Lights out will be at 11.00 pm (unless stated otherwise). Pupils must not disturb others or leave their rooms or admit others after this time.
  • Pupils must carry the mobile number of their teacher at all times.
  • Respect must be shown to all members of staff and all members of the public at all times.
  • Pupils must not purchase cigarettes, alcohol or unsuitable items of any kind. As rule of thumb if you wouldn't bring it into school don't purchase it!

Failure to abide by any of these rules will result in sanctions being imposed. This will include parents being immediately informed and pupils being withdrawn from future trips.
